Made with love in Vancouver, Canada.

Fashion designer hailing from Iran, Fereshteh draws inspiration from her new home in British Columbia to offer floral-themed jewelry and clothing.

Hello! I'm Fereshteh. I was born, worked in fashion design and fitness, and raised my beautiful family in the fertile foothills of Alborz mountains, Iran. Summer of 2020 I emigrated to Vancouver, Canada, melancholic from homesickness and simultaneous awe of British Columbia's beauty.

But it wasn't my beauty and as summer turned to autumn and autumn to winter I tried to determine not only my place, but also my contribution to this country I call home. Like many things, the answer was found in nature. The local flora around me was endless inspiration. My meditation was daily nature walks; as I learned about the plants around me I let them inspire my work. With each step and stitch my sense of place grows.

I'll always be homesick, but British Columbia is a wonderland unto its own and I'm eager to share it with you through the lens of hand embroidered, braided, knitted, stitched and sewn jewelry and clothes (coming soon!). Wish I could say it's fashion from the high streets of the capital Tehran, rather it's the simpler, quieter beauty rooted in the local weaving traditions of North Iran. Wherever you come from, I hope what you find here gives you a bit of the comfort only home can bring.

With love,

Fereshteh
